Happy Release Day Adrenaline

AdrenalineAdrenaline by Sunniva Dee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I would give it 4.5 stars if I could figure out how. Only just missed a perfect five. I thought about this a lot after finishing it.

This is the third book in Sunniva Dee's New Adult romance series set in the coolest club in town, Smother. I liked it. I liked it a lot.

I liked the opposing voices of Cameron and Ingela, and occasionally Bo.

I liked that Ingela is loud, and funny and opinionated.

I loved that Cameron is constantly in search of never being bored. And Ingela never bores him, even more than the extreme sports Cameron loves.

I can't wait to read more in this series. I received a complementary copy from the author in return for an honest review.

Five stars for His Blushing Bride!

His Blushing BrideHis Blushing Bride by Dani Collins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this short sweet contemporary romance by Dani Collins. His Blushing Bride is the second in the Montana Born Brides series. It also has important secondary characters of Skye and Chase from Dani Collins' Hometown Hero. I love love love recurring characters.

The heroine Piper is the local music teacher and lives over her parents garage. They sent hone a guy they met on their travels to stay in their house while he visits Marietta. Our hunk hero Bastien shows up and things get hot between Bastien and Piper!

I loved it when they were making out in the local high school make-out spot- because Piper had never been there - and one of her students, Bastien's niece shows up there with her boyfriend! Hilarious!

I also loved that the ending fooled me. Doesn't happen often but loved it!

Am really looking forward to the rest of this series. Can't wait to find out what happened at the celebrity wedding. I got a complimentary copy from NetGalley for an honest review.

Four Stars for the Fairy Tale Bride

The Fairy Tale BrideThe Fairy Tale Bride by Scarlet Wilson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Fairy Tale Bride is the first in the Montana Born Brides series, a continuation of the Marietta Montana and Copper Mountain Cowboy series, most recently the Bachelor Auction series. This is a short sweet contemporary romance that I liked a lot.

The heroine Lisa is the owner of Marietta's bridal salon, who volunteers at the local hospital. She keeps running into the new hot doctor, Adam, first at the hospital, then at the local chocolate shop.

I loved that Lisa brought little girls from the hospital to play dress up. I loved that Adam could have been known as the millionaire doctor but didn't want it enough that he moved half way across the country to get away from it. And I loved that they both love and appreciate their small town for what it is, and for what it isn't.

I cannot wait to read the next in this series. I got a complementary copy from NetGalley of this sweet romance.

Happy Release Week His Defiant Princess by Kathleen O'Brien

His Defiant PrincessHis Defiant Princess by Kathleen O’Brien
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I liked this short, sweet contemporary romance a lot! This book is the third in the loosely linked series Royal Holiday. It is about second chances.
The hero, Ronan is a prince who plays polo and likes to go fishing. The heroine, Brenna is a American living in his country, because she does have fond memories of her gap year summer, with Ronan. When they meet, after years apart, she realizes "for the first time in nine years, she didn't automatically think of Ronan as 'her original mistake'."
I loved Ronan's struggle to be true to a promise he made his father before he died, a promise to "never marry a woman he wouldn't have been proud of." Finally Ronan realizes the correct interpretation and goes after Brenna. Yes!
I look forward to the next book in the Royal Holiday series, and I also hope the author will write for us Willow and Emory's stories as well. I did receive a complimentary copy from NetGalley for an honest review.

Happy release week The Wedding Audition by Catherine Mann and Joanne Rock

The Wedding Audition (Runaway Brides #1)The Wedding Audition by Catherine Mann
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book in the contemporary romance series Runaway Brides.
I liked this book a lot.
I liked that Wynn, the transplanted city cop, has thrown himself into his cover story of apple farmer. He offers Annanae and escape from the paparazzi, when she inadvertently shows up on his doorstep.
I love that Annamae, our tv reality star, has thrown herself wholeheartedly into the rural life, transplanting flowers in front of her guest cottage. Wynn thinks her DIY streak is really hot.
Annamae loves his lifestyle -"How delicious was it to do something because you wanted to and not because you were supposed to?"
I am really looking forward to more in this series. I got a complementary copy from NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Formidable Lord Quentin by Patricia Rice

Formidable Lord Quentin (Rebellious Sons, #4)Formidable Lord Quentin by Patricia Rice
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is book 4 in the historical romance series Rebellious Sons.

I liked this book. I liked the rambuctious family. Quentin, the hero, tells Bell, the heroine - "You are looking beautifully harassed, my dear."

I liked that Bell wanted to find her long lost horse, and risked life and limb to find her. She considered her horse her baby. She and Quent "had all her family back."

I look forward to reading more in this series. I received a copy in a release week giveaway.

Her Secret Prince ARC Review

Her Secret Prince (Royal Holiday, #2)Her Secret Prince by Madeline Ash
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is the second in the short format contemporary romance series "Royal Holiday" This is a very loosely linked series, linked by theme. I would consider this book more correctly as one of a series from author Madeline Ash, as the secondary couple in this book are the hero and heroine from The Playboy.
I loved that this is a huge second chance for these two high school sweethearts. I loved that when our hero Jed showed up on her doorstep after ten years, she almost immediately lets him back in her life. And when she finds out he need to go to Paris to meet his dad, whom he had never met, Dee immediately books a flight, is packed and ready to go with him, no questions asked. "Dee was his home."
I liked this book a lot. Dee finds her Secret Prince.
I received a complementary book from NetGalley in return for an honest review.

The Cinderella Princess ARC Review

The Cinderella Princess (Royal Holiday, #1)The Cinderella Princess by Melissa McClone
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is the first in the short format contemporary romance series "Royal Holiday" This is a very loosely linked series, linked by theme. I would consider this book more correctly as one of a series from author Melissa McClone, as the secondary couple in this book are the hero and heroine from The Honeymoon Prize.
I loved this book. The heroine, Emily, is an ad exec brought in to revive a reality show. The reality show star, is the prince in question Luc. Luc is required to find a princess bride. Emily does a fine job getting to know Luc and quickly finding him princesses for first dates. Luc, on the other hand, does a fine job trying out all the dates on Emily first.
I loved that the prince had a charity that was basically his day job. But he wants to keep his charity out of the reality tv show.
I loved the ending of this book, Luc finds his Cinderella Princess.
I received a complementary book from NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Love, Your Greek Billionaire Review

Love, Your Greek Billionaire (Stravros and Willow, #2)Love, Your Greek Billionaire by Marian Tee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I loved the beginning of the prologue- "Recommended playlist: Salted Wound by Sia, We’ve Only Just Begun by The Carpenters.

I loved that the Willow loves him desperately, but understands that she must set him free.

I loved this book. I did not give it five stars because it is the middle in the Stavros and Willow trilogy, not a stand-alone and that makes me crazy!

I can't wait to read the next book in this trilogy. I received a complementary copy from the author in return for an honest review.
