Goodreads Review of The Way of the Warrior.

The Way of the WarriorThe Way of the Warrior by Suzanne Brockmann
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is an anthology of short stories and novellas to benefit the Wounded Warriors Project. Every story is part of another series. So this anthology is an excellent way to find another series about warriors - wounded or otherwise.
It consists of eight stories:
Hot as Hell , A Deep Six novella, by Julie Ann Walker
In Plain Sight, An Elite Force novella, by Catherine Mann
Torn, A Protect and Serve novella, by Kate SeRine
War Games, An Endgame Ops novella, by Lea Griffith
Beauty and the Marine, A Justiss Alliance novella, by Tina Wainscott
NSDQ 325, A Night Stalkers Romance, by M.L. Buchman
SEALed with Passion,A West Coast Navy Seals story, by Anne Elizabeth
Home Fire Inferno (Burn, Baby, Burn!), A Troubleshooters story eight months after Breaking the Rules, by Suzanne Brockmann.

I liked some stories more than others. My favorites were Hot as Hell and In Plain Sight, because the characters were believable and likeable without having read the rest of the series. Home Fire Inferno I liked but it has so much backstory that I think it would be confusing if you hadn't read the previous Troubleshooters stories first. War Games was another where I felt like I needed more backstory since I was not familiar with the Endgame Ops series.

I look forward to reading more of these series, and love having a new Troubleshooters story from Suzanne Brockmann. I received a complimentary copy from netGalley in return for an honest review.
